Remarks & Notes
Brookville Locomotive Corporation’s newest member of Hybrid, the CoGeneration. As was explained to me, this loco is powered by 3-700HP engines and has the ability to shut one or two of them down when power demand is low, as when idling or running at track speed and not needing all 3 engines to keep up. This loco has toured the NS and CSX, and has returned for some updates and data studies. It will soon be seen on the UP and BNSF. Almost looks like he could be going home with the BNSF, doesn’t it? Check out http://brookvilleequipment.com for more info.
