| The south crew is down to a crawl as they climb out of the Cedar River near 42nd St in northern Cedar Rapids. Engineer Bob Helling is back try to keep the 1792 running to make it over the grade. The concrete abutments are from where the Milwaukee Road's mainline from Green Island, IA to Council Bluffs, IA once crossed this ex-Rock Island mainline. |
