Oh, what a candy store the SP Lafayette sub was in the AM, with runthroughs from CSX and NS bringing treats from all their predecessor roads; you never knew what these runthroughs would bring. We all thought that after the L&N, SCL and SOU runthroughs were gone by the late 70s that the variety would be gone. Wrong! During the late 80s, it was just a treasure chest of power variety.
