| It was a tough chase to get ahead of this guy... but I made it. Travel not advised... unless you are in a GE or a die-hard railfan!" Several people have called me crazy for going out in these storms... after this one, I'm starting to agree with some of them. It was zero visibility at many points on this trip and pure hell trying to keep speed with the train, I finally hit an area that had just been plowed and kicked 'er down. It is hard to believe another train just passed through in the other direction an hour ago and the snow covered the tracks again enough to get a shot like this. Would have been an awesome chase east, but the roads were just too bad. More photos and video. |
