Remarks & Notes

this is the final CP train to run over CSX's former Monon route between Louisville,KY and Bedford,Indiana. A couple days following the photo the Indiana Railroad would take over operations of the CP's Latta Subdivision and that includes trackage rights over CSX between Bedford,In and Louisville,KY. Lckily the CP unit led, with a CEFX AC4400CW and SD9043MAC trailing.
