Remarks & Notes |
PRR 9999 (renumbered from 9353) and leased to the Union Transportation Company heads north over the Lahaway Creek trestle north of Hornerstown enroute to Agrico at the railroad's Shrewsbury Road terminus. Lahaway, a nearby hamlet, was resurrected from obscurity by the late Henry Charlton Beck, a Camden Courier reporter who chronicled the UT and other South Jersey folklore in a series of newspaper articles and books. |
