"Where the trunk means Washington County:" That's the conclusion that Ben Bachman may have come to if his pivotal two part series on the Vermont's River Line, published in the January and Febuary 1982 issues of Trains Magazine, were published today. Today much of the former B&M and CP Connecticut River Line is part of Vermont Rail System's Washington County Railroad. On this cold January day in 2009 VTR 307 leads WJNP north at Barnet, Vermont. |
