| The conductor off the Russell Plow starts to dig out the west siding switch at Ossian. The Davis Jct to Mason City manifest train is stopped on the main track in the background waiting to meet the work train. The switch heaters on these powered switches weren't working right, so it was up to good old fashion manual labor to get the job done. |
