Remarks & Notes |
New Orleans Public Service Car #966 exits the colorful tree canopy at Jack Kerouac Park and enters the S-Curve Bridge over the Eastern Canal. No, this isn't New Orleans, this is Lowell Massachusetts and Car 966 is operating in conjunction with the Lowell National Historical Park. The Lowell Trolleys operate on former B&M trackage within the city. Once used for moving goods to and from the city's mill complexes, these lines are now used to transport visitors to and from the park's exhibit sites. |
