Remarks & Notes |
A pair of geeps have been switching the south lead of the BNSF's ex GN yard. When making long pulls out of the yard they will reach all the way to and across the Missouri River Bridge here at MP 0.4 on the south side of the river. This point is the demarcation between the southern end of the Great Falls Sub mainline (on which the train sits) and the northern end of the Laurel Sub mainline. The switch in the foreground leads to the Fort Benton Sub branchline. To the left of the train is the BNSF's brick engine house still proudly proclaiming her heritage to the world. |
