The Well's daylight local, 948, is just pulling into the elevator at Welcome to spot the last 25 cars of a KCS empty feeder train. The other 50 empties went to Minnesota Lake and Wells. After this move 948 will head out to Jackson to start pulling 25 KCS loads and head back to Wells. The DM&E uses the UP Fairmont Sub to get from Fairmont and Welcome, total of 8 miles.
