| Step 1 - Team Glischinski drives from Minnesota to North Dakota on Sunday for a rumored run of BN rotary snow plow.
Step 2 - Arrive in North Dakota, find rumors are true - rotary is up and ready to go! There it is! Look at it!
Step 3 - BNSF forgets to call a required crewman on Monday. Dreams of seeing rotary in operation on first day dashed.
Step 4 - Jordan spreader breaks down. Repair crews called. Rumor that rotary will still run in the morning.
Step 5 - Big meeting held. Oh no! Rotary not running for the second day in a row! Dreams dashed again.
Step 6 - Return to Minnesota - have job, need to feed family.
Step 7 - Posted only good rotary shot from trip on Railpictures. Roster shot. No snow. No spinning wheel.
Step 8 - Log on to Railpictures at home; curse Craig Williams for shooting rotary in service the day I had to be back to work! Darn you Williams!
Step 9 - Praying for more snow in North Dakota (ongoing). |
