A MAX Blue/Red Line train pops out of the tunnel under Sunset Highway and arrives at the aptly-named Sunset Transit Center as the sun's last rays cast a pink tint on the scattered clouds. At the time this photo was taken, Steel Bridge was closed for construction work in preparation for opening the new Green Line; as a result, Westside Blue and Red Line service was combined, indicated by the placard displayed in front of the operator.
