Having just got out of bed after a "Red Eye" 12-8 shift, I cut the scanner on to hear the NS Greenville dispatcher say: " alright, signal coming to you at Ayersville 153 ". Knowing that Ayersville is just to the North of Mt. Airy, I had to get there quick. Once there, it wasn't long at all until I heard that familiar roar of GE's coming up track 1.
