I'm tooling around Tacoma after fixing the "little trains" only to realize I've seriously misjudged the sunset. I should be at Steilacoom, but that's a half hour away. Where, where can I go to catch a train with this sunset as a backdrop? A crackle over the radio and I hear SDRX 908 asking permission to pass the red at G street. Sounder of course! You should have seen the sunset 5 minutes earlier. Click Here to see this scene in 1978 from Blair Kooistra!
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
