| A pair of bright future painted engines hitch a ride on the rear of this eastbound loaded coal train into Shelby Yard near Pikeville. Shelby is former C&O and is a hub for helpers and helper crews for trains that will cross the mountainous Clinchfield Railroad but it is odd to see engines on the rear of a train at the west end of the yard where this photo was taken. |
