With the Book Cliffs slowly receding into the distance, Union Pacific's 'Potash Turn' heads south at milepost 9, about one mile shy of the summit at Arch. Today's 12 car train has just under 27 miles to go (and most of it downhill) to reach the end of line at Potash, Utah.
