A famous location, from a rarely visited spot. A westbound empty hopper train snakes its way along the New River during an early spring snowfall. The bridge pictured, is the one and only New River Gorge Bridge, which stands 876 feet above the river, and is 3030 feet long. A semi crossing the middle gives a bit of perspective of how large this scene really is.
