Remarks & Notes

An elderly Czechoslakian 2-8-0 leaves Nezamyslice with a freight train for Olomouc. This design originated in Austria as two-cylinder compounds but were rebuilt as simples by the CSD. The bolts in the smokebox door used to hold a large red star before the 'Prague Spring' which had been crushed by the Russians before this photo was taken.
