Though I don't remember the exact date, I remember the setting well. I was actually catching a zzz or two after coming off of a night of hauling UP and Belt crews all over creation around Houston, and was preparing to do the college thing during the day. Had dozed off and awoke to hear the hostlers talking about the HOCXQ power tying on its' train; turned around and caught the set coming up to the CP; they stopped just long enough for me to come to my senses, grab the camera and step out long enough to snap it up. Back in the good old days in the 70s, these same units probably visited the same spot, as L&N 4 axle units were very common on run throughs then.
