Remarks & Notes

Just like today, the end of 1981 saw a downturn in traffic for the DRGW such that a visit to Burnham Works on the day before Christmas found all GP35s and all but four SD45s in storage. In a break in the snow-filled skies, more fortunate 5331, 5317, 3028 and sisters received attention.
