Remarks & Notes |
The rail systems at Obdulio Morales and the adjacent Simon Bolivar mill were part of a much larger public railway which connected the towns of Caibarian, some 20 miles west along the coast, with Chambras, another 20 miles to the southeast. Locomotive 1334 was built in 1920 by Baldwin for this railway. It had the number 17 and was named Don Alvaro. |
