| *** DISCLAIMER *** I have gotten email claiming this is GWWR 2041, and 2044. The notes on my slide mount indicate 2048, taken from the fact the nose and cab scraps were in the gon behind the flat car, and the rear number boards had been removed. Sometime during 1995 I was checking out trains at Valley Junction in East St. Louis. I was approched by a special agent and we began chatting. He told me of an interesting and "sad" load that had arrived at the yard, and told me to follow him and he allowed me to photograph it. See 7th comment below for information about the accident.
