Remarks & Notes
Union Pacific's former D&RGW Cane Creek Subdivision is truly a marvel of engineering and construction. The Friday afternoon 'Potash Turn' is captured creeping slowly along 'the shelf' approaching the deep sandstone cut at milepost 31. The LDC53 will soon break free of Bootlegger Canyon and follow the Colorado River the last five miles to the loadout at Intrepid Potash.
