Gotta love the sweet evening light... a coal empty rolls over the bridge between the murky narrows of Cass Lake and Pike Bay. The train was supposed to be lead by the H2 SD70MAC, but the crew rotated the power to have (much to my approval) the SD70ACe on the point. There are only a few days of the year you can shoot at this location, being near the beginning of summer on sunny evenings. Of course, the "Minnesota Mosquitos" were eating me alive, but it was worth it!
