Steam locomotives 3526, 3642 and 3830 race the NSW Rail Transport Museum "Illawarra Highlander" special out of Otford Tunnel, and into the daylight near Stanwell Park. The special train was en route from Sydney to Moss Vale via Wollongong.
Landscape photography is difficult due to the challenge of combining good light and good scenery. Good railroad photography enters another level of complexity since it requires the first two while there is a train in view.
