| 1 of 3: Test train 995 heads south near MP R9 on Starkey Hill. Research car NS 32 can be seen between the units and train. NS performed adhesion testing on Starkey with four borrowed CSXT AC440CWs during January 1997 – two units with rigid trucks and 275/276 with “steerable” trucks. The blue barrells are for “wet rail testing”. I did not manage to get any presentable shots of the rigid truck testing thanks to poor weather. |
