The smart matched blue livery of locomotive and wagons will soon be a thing of the past on the daily Grangemouth (Scotland) to Daventry train for Tesco Supermarkets. DRS's smart blue will give way to rival DB Shenker (formerly EWS) very soon. The latter company have a reputation for rarely bothering to wash their engines, the majority of which wear the now tatty Wisconsin Central inspired EWS maroon and gold. The train is seen in Southern Scotland's glorious countryside, diverted from the normal route via the West Coast Main Line, a few miles away to the east. It's been an appalling summer this year, but for once the clouds parted timeously.
