| One Hand on the Throttle and One on the Brake - The engineer of Amtrak Train 785 from San Diego, pulls out of the station at Fullerton on the way to Los Angeles with Cabcar #6904 in the lead. While I am not a big fan of the "cabcar" since they lack the smooth lines and obvious presence of a proper railroad engine, they are however quite common nowadays and the utility of a commuter train that can be operated in push mode is self evident. |
