| A Winter Afternoon at Control Point Summit - BNSF #7712 leads a manifest train down the Cajon Pass towards the Los Angeles basin from Barstow California with the remainder of a pre-Christmas snow on the ground at EBCS Summit. I always find manifest, or “junk trains” as they are sometimes called more interesting than the more common intermodal Goliaths of the modern age. Seems junk trains remind me of my youth when I had less to worry about in general, and more time to stare at what went by on the tracks. |
