| Having uploaded some shots taken at the Neville Hill Depot Open Day recently, I thought I'd upload a shot taken at the last Open Day I attended there, twenty five years ago. LNER A4 streamliner 4498 Sir Nigel Gresley was on display that day and here we see it receiving some attention outside. In those days, there were no restrictions on getting near to the locos. Health and Safety Officers had more sense and companies were less paranoid about litigous people who aren't careful and get themselves into a positiion where they receive minor injuries. |
