Remarks & Notes
A fire burns in Cajon Pass as two BNSF intermodal trains meet just below Summit. One train is heading down track 2 as the other train approaches from Silverwood on its way up track 1. All train traffic had been shut down earlier until it was deemed safe enough for traffic to continue. Two other people stopped to view the action. I don't recall the freeway traffic being stopped though SR 138 west of I-15 was closed.

A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
FIRE !

A far cry from the common wedgie ... and particularly well executed.
