Remarks & Notes
A long transfer drag from ICTF (Union Pacific's Intermodal Container Transfer Facility) to Long Beach is handled by a single Motive Power Industires MP20C-3 as it eases over Alameda Blvd and the northern leg of the Wilmington Wye to join Pacific Harbor Line's Long Beach Sub for the Port of Long Beach. At one time Thernard (not be confused with today's West Thernard, or Thernard Tower, to the north of here), this location was the north switch from SP's San Pedro Branch to their Long Beach Branch, and was later renamed Wilmington (Anaheim Blvd).
