Boston & Maine passenger-baggage RDC No 6211 rushes eastbound through Bedford Depot toward North Station in Boston, on an evening express run.
Actually, it's 2009 and the B&M hasn't used an RDC since the mid-1980's. But with a bit of camera movement and a slow exposure during magic hour, this old commuter car almost comes to life. The 6211 is a 1955 Budd RDC passenger-baggage car, that was brought to Bedford Depot in Bedford, Massachusetts for display in 1998, and has been undergoing a beautiful cosmetic restoration ever since.
