Remarks & Notes |
This is Canadian Pacific's Camden Place bridge which marks the furthest navigable point north on the Mississippi River's shipping channel. There are a few barge terminals just feet down river from this crossing. The bridge was built in 1905 and only has a 28 foot clearance off the water in it's 904 foot length. This westbound is headed for Hombolt Yard with some of it's train still crossing over BNSF's Northtown Yard across the river. Shoreham Yard is also just a mile across the river. |
