| C&NW 6711,1507 are just cutting away from a 50 car cut of loaded ore cars after shoving them up the hill to the dumper shed at Escanaba ore dock. The 1507 is a Baldwin DRS6-6-15 that was re-engined with a EMD567 years ago. It is near the end of its service life, soon to be replaced by members of the C&NW 4 axle ALCO fleet being transferred east from South Dakota. |
