| The world's newest main line steam locomotive, Tornado is seen working a Christmas lunch special in a very snowy Kent. The snow had caused chaos on the electrified lines in the South of England and very few trains operated. Tornado ran pretty much to time throughout the trip, afterall there was nothing to get in the way! That evening a dinner train operated over a slightly different route. As the train was being made ready to depart from London Victoria the locomotive's owners saw a number of stranded Kent commuters on the platforms and offered them a lift home, see this link for a report http://www.thenorthernecho.co.uk/news/4820530.Tornado_to_the_rescue/ .
