| Three big C&NW C628's are easing down to the LS&I connection at Partridge Jct. The Alco era is almost over on the C&NW as the 4 axles are already retired as are a few of the 628's. By late Dec. these three also will be replaced by SD50's and 60's. On this bright fall morning 6701,6727,6706 are doing the same job they have been doing for the last eleven years, and still doing it well. |
