Oilfired steamlocomotive 206 of the Ferrovias Central Andino (FVCA) was built in 1937 by Beyer,Peacock in the UK and belongs to the wellknown "Andes" class. The freshly painted locomotive is pulling a short charter train for TUT from Surco to Bartolome and is crossing Puente Carriòn, the largest bridge on the impressive Ferrocarril Central Andino. The 218 metre long bridge on 1650 metre a.s.l. and 84 kilometres from Callao was built in 1937 by the “Cleveland Bridge Company” in north England. |
