Edgemont is a fascinating spot, pretty much on the edge of the Black Hills, maybe where it came up with its name. BN was always up for some cutting edge ideas in the 80's, some went well(power by the hour)and some not so well(selling off lines that would be needed in later years). Power by the hour SD60's in EMD demo colors lead westbound empties out of Edgemont. OWY 9075,9047,ATSF 8011,BN 5544 is the consist on this job with the normal 115 cars trailing along.
