Rounding the curve and switching from the old PRR line to the NYC line, the empty PRR signal bridge still stands as a reminder that before Conrail, a diamond once existed here, where the NYC's route to Springfield crossed the PRR. Conrail abandoned the PRR route west of London, in favor of the NYC route, which is abandoned east of London to Lilly Chapel. From Lilly Chapel to Columbus the Camp Chase operates this 14 mile stretch of track.
