Remarks & Notes

A CSX crew member takes a torch to the mounting bolts of the South Romney Semaphore. Within minutes the mast and blade were laying on the ground. I was honored to see her finial days and to witness her death. I returned to this location hours after the crewmen gone and I felt like I was walking on someone's grave.
