| The sparkles in the snow contrast with the carbon build-up on the globe of a Strasburg Rail Road lantern during Pete Lerro's Virginia Creeper photo charter. One of the most interesting aspects of the night photo shoot was watching the trainmen go about their business by the light of lanterns. Talk about turning back the clock! There were a dozen ways to shoot this simple tool while it awaited use. This one focuses on the globe, but it was equally interesting to focus on the glow and shadows amongst the snow. |
