Nothing but greens! NS OCS 952 weaves its way through downtown Atlanta. Perhaps remembering the fiasco of September last year where the OCS got stuck behind a coal train, the dispatchers decided to stop all trains to let the OCS pass. On the left a 740 Scherer train is stopped on the far track at Jones Avenue, while a NB Intermodal is stopped at Spring St. short of the crossovers on the other main. The OCS will cross over at Jones Avenue to slip between the two trains. Unfortunately for the NB intermodal pulled up just as I got a call from a friend in Austell who said the OCS was leaving, causing me to have to make a mad run (yes actually run since im without a car in Atlanta) halfway across town to Jones Ave with about a minute to spare. The train is bound for Titusville, FL on the FEC so the brass can tour a new intermodal facility.
