A long string of interesting units occupy s the deadline at DeButt's yard in Chattanooga. First up is MP15DC 2420, which must have had a major problem to end up here. Of interest are the three GP50's, including one second to the end, the units, 7003, 7077, and 7088 were reactivated just weeks after this shot was taken. The 7003 had been stored for almost a year. The fates of the GE's will probably not be as good, the majority of the units are C39-8E's, which were preproduction C40-8's. The two blue units and the one solid black units are C39-8's, probably some of the last left on the property, they will likely end up as scrap metal.
