Dust is around us all of the time. Sometimes there is too much. Consider this westbound Canadian Natiional freight running fast on a right of way of freshly cleaned ballast. You can see why you might want to book off a day or two after MOW has come through. I could see the dust cloud coming towards me for many miles ahead. Naturally, at first I though it was major engine fire. or traction motors cooking. I bet the boys back at Montreal will be blowing out those traction motors when these units make it home. |
