A pleasant early evening in the southern suburb of SeaTac. The operator of the train on the right readies for a departure in a matter of minutes. At the southern end of Sound Transits Link Light Rail, trains layover to make the run north once again. A few hundred feet away, 737's, 777's, and 747's roar off the parallel runways. The Link, as it travels from Seattle, passes by Boeing field, where the very same airplanes were tested and delivered to the customer. Coming to SeaTac is a little homecoming for any Boeing aircraft. The Link trains were also assembled at Boeing from Japanese kits. On that map, we're at the very bottom, but it's a little difference scene at the top.
