Remarks & Notes
The month of May brings the Furze bush into bloom throughout Ireland. The bright yellow flower complements the paint scheme applied to Rotem built “22000” class railcar No.22333 working the 1500 Dublin (Heuston) – Westport service photographed near Clara, Co. Offaly in the Irish midlands. These railcars with MTU engines form the mainstay of Iarnród Éireann’s intercity fleet.
