UDOT opened a brand new overpass across UP's Sharp Sub at 4th South in Springville, Utah. Benefiting from the new elevated perspective we witness an IPP coal empty approaching the Intermountain Power Project Railcar Service Center west of town. The power consist is a throwback to the early days of the UP-SP merger, with CNW, UP & SP AC4400CW motors leading a train of brand new Rapid Discharge hoppers. Snowy 10,685 ft. Mt. Loafer looms obove the cities of Spanish Fork, Salem, Elk Ridge, and Woodland Hills.
