A few observations about this pan shot... first, I really wouldn't want to be the engineer in one of these things if it ever got involved in a grade crossing mixup with a cement truck! Second, GO 411 is a 12-coach train that runs express from Toronto Union to Clarkson then all stops to Burlington. Even though this train has just left Clarkson it's still standing room only. Those fortunate enough to have a seat can be seen talking on cell phones, texting, reading the newspaper or just plain holding their heads up after a long hard day at work. Third, the large red thing on the right is CEBX 800, 36 axle Schnabel Car hiding at this small chemical plant's loading track until its own load in west Oakville is ready to roll. Thanks to Bryce L. and Bruce A. for telling me where to find it and Bruce M. for the waybill info.
Pace and pan shots of trains from on the ground or in the air. If you're not in the locomotive cab or on-board the train, it's the next best thing to being there.
